hmmpph, wad i m goin to do now? well, its sth dat i wanted to do so much in the past but due to various reasons, i dint or i procastinate (seems like the latter is more convincing)
The story begins from a back pack :)
i wil start from the day i receive some cultural shock in the train station.
we are so blur for mistaken the date of the train as it departs on 130am as so we bought it the one day before compared to our planned date.
and the most hilarious thing is : we find tis out jz before we went!
so we took the general compartment ticket, so much more cheaper than the sleeper class, but i guess we shouldnt hav had the wrong imagination and fantasy when the ticket counter woman sayin about the general compartment: gt place to seat, free seating.. oh well, my mind jz cumin up with the malaysia ktm seater ..
so this is the cultural shock...
well, i din snap pic using camera, as it would be super obvious and we are already quite freak out, jz took 3 precious picture with my lousy camera phone.
feelin really unsecure being in a crowded bunch of intensely bl*ck indian( not tryin to be racist, but jz tellin hw i feel) well, we being different coloured and 5 girls seems to be the spotlight of the compartment.
That night, i din close my eyes. guarding my backpack and feelin absurd about my first experience with indian railway.. its jz a pure 'extraordinary' n 'eyeopener' experience.
two ppl on a couch :S
so finally after the looooongggg night(abt 5hrs)
we hav reached our 1st destination: goa
goa is famous for the beach among westerners (nude beach!!) but during the time we visit, its an off season bcz of the monsoon rain, and we, not fully aware of the distribution of tourist in goa, we chose the south goa, which a more of laid back and relaxing, instead of wad we wanted to see, the pastries shop, beach club, seafood etc etc..
we stayed in la ben hotel, priced at rs 900 (rm60), i'd say this is the most decent guest house in this trip ;)
later we hopped on a day trip to see around the cities, nth much special about the trip, i jz rmb St Francies Xavier's church, a beautiful building, other places are kinda touristy and nth so special to be mentioned..
The night aft the day trip, we decided to go for a western seafud dinner which is kinda popular in goa, tho its pricey but i feel its all worthwhile for the kind of quality u can get in india.
As we dont know where to go, the best thing to do is follow with lonely planet!
nearby our guesthouse, there is obne restaurant that is recommended: Mickey's
I tried the cashew fenny( alcohol fermented from cashew nut) which is one of the significant product from goa, and spend my night in an extremely high mood LOL
hmmph, gettin a bit tipsy
utterly delicious fish n chips
anyway, Nice FOod, NIce ambience and most of all, the singer is so so so talented, he shud go for india got talent , he can imitate elton john, michael jackson and so many powerful singer so well~ and he did smile at me!! :))
another thing i'd miss here is THE BREAKFAST!!
it taste so gud! can share between two, big portion, economical and finger-licking too~love it!
we stayed in goa for about 2 days, the next day we are boarding a flight to jaipur, known as the pink city. it wil be in the next post! :D
lol, this post seems like takin me forever to upload the picture, anyway, i m FREE now! at least i did something today, tomorrow classes starts again..
hmmphh, when wil i hit the travel route again?? *wondering*
in my dreams perhaps, good night peeps!
god, first few photos freaked me out.
ReplyDeletethankful to be in Japan. :P
anyway, i'm sure it'd been a great experience huh. :)
dun worry la, dat one is we mistaken the date, left with no choice, so we nid to take the general compartment, other class of train even gt AC and yr own seat with blanket and pillow( use basic imagination, dun thk too far) :PP
